RM200 drop in padi rice set to hit farmers

Kota Kinabalu: Paddy farmers in Sabah are set to lose with a RM200 drop in the price of paddy next Monday.
Sabah Commercial Rice Miller Association (Padikom) Secretary, Catherine Chu, said the paddy price will be dropped from RM950 to RM750 per metric tonne, which is the pricing set by the Ministry of Agriculture through the Paddy and Rice Control Division. More.....
