The UMNO branch meetings are tainted with money politics. Even top UMNO leaders have lamented on this scourge that is paralysing UMNO. This year's UMNO meetings and elections will be the dirtiest ever with the malignant signs already evident at the grassroots level. Can ordinary UMNO members win the battle against money politics that has its roots at the highest level of our party? Why are only lower-tier UMNO members brought to book? Caesar to his generals commanding the legions must be incorruptible.
UMNO will not survive this plague, especially when potential leaders who want to rejuvenate and revitalise UMNO are "eliminated" in this way. What happens to our "Perjuangan yang belum selesai?"
